Conditions of Entry at Lawnton Aquatic Centre
To ensure a pleasant and secure environment for all our members and guests, please take a moment to review our venue conditions of entry.

Our Venue
- Inappropriate, foul language and aggressive behaviour are not permitted.
- Please respect the rights of others and our staff.
- Facility operators reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason.
- Medical Conditions: If you have any disease, illness, injury, or medical condition, it is recommended you speak with your GP or staff prior to using our facilities.
- Waiver and Release of Liability: Please acknowledge that when you are on the premises, both your property and person shall be at your own risk and shall not hold the centre or its employees liable for any personal injury or loss of property which may arise from any cause.
- The Lawnton Aquatic Centre is a smoke-free zone. Smoking and E cigarettes (vaping) is banned at this facility and for 10m beyond the facility boundary
- Running, pushing, flips, bombs, diving and jumping are not permitted
- No pets or animals are permitted within the facility with the exception of assistance dogs
- Banned items include but are not limited to: Scooters, Skateboard and Bicycles
- Cameras and mobile phones are not to be used for photos or videos unless authorised by Centre Management. They are prohibited in changerooms
Aquatic Areas
- Lifeguards supervise our aquatic areas, however active parental supervision must be followed.
- In an emergency please follow lifeguard instructions.
- Children aged 5 years and under need to be supervised within arms reach from in the pools at all times, wearing the provided Keep Watch wristbands. The supervising person must be 18 years or older
- Children aged 6 to 13 years need to be actively supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Children 13 or under are not permitted entry unless under active supervision of a person 18 years or older.
- A maximum of 2 children under 5 years old or 4 children under 10 years old can be supervised by each parent/guardian over the age of 16 years.
- Suitable swimwear must be worn. Articles of clothing such as street-wear, underwear, denim, bike pants and casual wear are strictly prohibited in the water.
Only recognised waterproof aqua-nappies are to be worn in the water for infants. - Glass objects or alcohol are not permitted.
- Please adhere to the safety signage around the pool area.
- Children over the age of 7 are required to use sex-appropriate change rooms or unisex bathrooms.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry. Refusal to comply with these conditions of entry may result in removal from the facility
