At Lawnton Aquatic Centre we offer a range of activities and cater to a variety of community and school groups within our aquatic spaces. We aim to have at least two lap lanes available to the public during all pool opening hours Monday to Sunday (subject to event bookings). 
 
Program, event or school bookings may see limited or no public access during specific times; notice of this will be displayed on this page and shared across our website and social channels in advance.

25m Indoor Pool

Our 25m indoor pool is heated to 33 degrees, the perfect temperature for anyone wanting to do hydrotherapy. This pool is also utilised for the majority of our GOswim lessons.

50m Outdoor Pool

Outdoor swimming pool is open to the public at any time during our general venue Opening Hours unless specified in the Lap Lane Availability sheet above.

Please be advised the Toddler Pool will be closed until September.

CLOSED Christmas Day and Good Friday.

In the event of a storm, our lifeguards will evacuate the pools for safety until the storm has passed. For your protection, we adhere to a strict policy of waiting 30 minutes after each lightning strike before allowing anyone to return to the water. Your safety is our top priority.

If the 50m pool is booked for an event, it will be closed to the public for the duration of the carnival. However, you are welcome to use the indoor pool, subject to availability, during this time. Please be sure to check the availability of both the lap lanes and the 25m pool before coming down for a swim.

Our 50m pool is heated year-round to a comfortable 27.5 degrees. During the summer months, the temperature may increase if we experience extended periods of hot weather. We aim to maintain a pleasant swimming environment for all our visitors.
