Important Information

We would like to reassure all of our members that we are operating with COVID safe plans in place.

The Centre is working to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.

We are working to ensure our centre remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the centre, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our community facility with confidence while it is safe to do so.

Remember is you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Update - 08/08/2021

We are open from Monday 9th August

As per the State Government directive, from 4pm today (Sunday 8 August) South East QLD will come out of lockdown. This means we will be re-opening from tomorrow 9th August. 

Some restrictions will remain in place including the wearing of masks both indoors and outside, except when eating. We will be operating following the 4sqm rules and check-in via the Check in QLD app when visiting us. 

This is subject to change in line with revisions from the state government. 

Your Memberships and Passes 

Your membership will be reinstated from Monday 9th August. 

Casual visits can be purchased upon entry. 

Any questions please contact our team for assistance.  

Here is what you need to know: 

  • We will be following capacity limits within the 4sqm rule – at this stage we do not believe this will affect normal programs. 
  • Group Fitness classes will recommence from Monday 9th August. 
  • Pool access will recommence Monday 9th August. 
  • GOswim lessons will recommence Monday 9th August. We ask that only one parent or guardian come along with each student to lessons.  
  • Check In QLD QR check-in is mandatory  
  • Mask must be worn except when participating in exercise that causes you to be out of breath. 
  • All Memberships recommence Monday 9th August.

Update - 02/08/2021

As per the State Government directive, lockdown restrictions will be extended for South East QLD, meaning we will remain closed until the 8th August or further Government direction.

Restrictions are subject to change in line with the extended lockdown revisions from the State Government.  

 

Your Membership    

  • Your membership will remain on free suspension for the further closure period. 

  • All future bookings you have made (for the closure period) will be cancelled.   

  • We will contact you once the advised temporary closure period concludes, or as directed by the Government.    

  • We will be giving you FREE access to the Home Fitness Network during the closure period, please check your email for access.

If you reside in any of the 11 LGAs, (Brisbane City, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Noosa Shire Council, Redland City, Scenic Rim Regional Council, Somerset Regional Council, Sunshine Coast Regional Council) you can only leave your home for 4 reasons. 

  • shopping for essential goods and services 

  • for medical or compassionate care 

  • to exercise, or for essential work or education. 

  • to receive a COVID-19 test or vaccination. 

 

Shopping and exercise must be done within 10km of the home. 

We understand that these restrictions effect everyone differently, we want to let you know that we are thinking of you during this time and if you need our support we are here.

At this time, we will continue to provide members with FREE access to the Belgravia Foundation’s Mental Health eLearning Program (MHeLP) - an online resource that equips the learner to better understand their own and others mental health and improves their confidence to support someone living with a mental health condition.

Update - 31/07/2021

3-Day Lockdown in place 

 As per the State Government directive, 11 South East Queensland LGAs will be entering a 3 day lockdown effective from 4pm today. This means we will be closed effective from 3pm tonight (Saturday 31 July) for 3 days.

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the state government.  

Due to this temporary closure, please read below what this will mean for you, our members and guests.  

By staying at home and limiting contact with other people, we can each help to protect the elderly, the at-risk, and healthcare workers and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).   

Your Membership    

  • Your membership will be placed on a free suspension for the closure period. 
  • All future bookings you have made (for the closure period) will be cancelled. 
  • We will contact you once the advised temporary closure period concludes, or as directed by the Government.  
  • We will be giving you FREE access to the Home Fitness Network during the closure period, please look out for an email on Monday with your access code.

Update - 02/07/2021

As per State Government directive, we will be closed for an additional 24-hours in line with the QLD Govt restrictions.  

We will reopen on Sunday 04-July - pending revisions from State Government. 

As a reminder, by staying at home and limiting contact with other people, we can each help to protect the elderly, the at-risk, and healthcare workers and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

What are we doing to minimise health risks in-Centre?

The Centre will be vigilant in implementing infection control procedures including daily cleaning in accordance with normal protocols, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits and will make hand sanitiser available for staff and patrons to use while using the Centre.
 

What information and advice will help our members?

For now, the best advice is to follow some simple steps to help slow the spread of the virus and to reduce the risk of infection.

If I have or am undergoing a period of self-isolation, what happens to my membership?

If you are showing symptoms or have been recommended by a Health Professional to self isolate, you should be staying at home and minimising contact with others.  Please contact the Centre team to discuss managing your membership where you are uncertain of your options.
 

What happens to Swim School sessions I have booked?

If you have any Swim School lessons booked, please contact the Centre.
