The Lawnton Aquatic Centre Swimming and Water Safety Program is an accredited Royal Life Saving Society Australia (RLSSA) Swim and Survive Program catering to children and adults of all ages and abilities, including Special needs. This structured program will ensure the essential components of personal survival and water safety are provided as well as the process of developing a strong and effective swimming technique. Our programs provide a pathway of learning for gradual skill progression at each life stage, from 6 months of age to 99 years.
All of our teachers are outstanding, Austswim qualified teachers who are experienced, mature and passionate about their job. Not only will they teach your child a skill for life but they will have fun while learning.
The Lawnton Aquatic Centre Swim School also provides private lessons, tailored for children and adults of all abilities. The classes are conducted on a 1:1 basis to suit individual needs.
The Swim School operates 7 days per week, providing for the needs of babies, children and adults. Lessons are conducted all year round in our heated indoor pool (32.5 degrees).
